Shipping products at 21: fear and speed
The night before I shipped my first product, I couldn't sleep. The fear was precise: what if nobody cares?
Then I realized: nobody caring is the cheapest lesson there is. Invisible failure teaches far more than visible failure — you keep the right to try again.
Speed is my age advantage. At 21 you have no "reputation" to protect; that's not a lack, it's freedom.
My rule is simple: ship the version you're embarrassed by, then fix it every day. The perfect first version is a hundred late ones.
To handle the fear, I asked Düşün — yes, my own app. Napoleon said "decide in advance"; Rumi said "accept the loss first". I did both.
Launch day: 47 questions, 3 errors, 1 smile. Small, but mine.
The downside of being 21 is inexperience; the upside is that inexperience smells like courage.
